LOOKING TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP JESUS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. 18 No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].

Welcome goe and Alvin!!!

Folks, it seems the GES is up to its old tricks of misrepresenting the Lordship position again by saying that L/S teaches salvation by works. I've challenged these brave souls to come on over to provide a direct quote from an L/S teacher that states salvation by works.

Gary,Lordship states very clearly that one is born again instantly when they believe in Jesus. Can you or Alvin produce for me a direct quote from a lordship teacher that states that one is saved by works? I'm am sure that your attempts to do so would be the result of "massaging" the quote just a tad. It would seem that that is the only way the GES position can keep itself alive.

Mark,
The "goe" rambling attack comment over there was so full of holes and false charges that I was tempted to respond there. However, I did not want to do it on that thread. I hope he shows here where he will have to deal with what I believe rather than his distorted view of what I believe. However, I will defend my views only and not those he claims some other reformed person, preacher, or theologian might have said.

Alvin, has shown himself to be unwilling to leave friendly blogs and debate on the blogs of those he slanders. I hope he would show some courage, but I doubt it will happen.

It seems to be the thing for those mighty men, Liver and Onions and Kevl included, to be oh so powerful and full of wisdom and knowledge on the friendly blogs, but to be too cowardly to come over where their views will be challenged instead of fawned over.

Wow. There's a shocker. Isn't that a little like posting a news alert that the citizens of France are speaking French again? So very anti-climactic, Mark!

:-)

Your old buddy,

Matt, why don't they just stop the non-sense?! Why don't they let the conversation move forward?
