LOOKING TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP JESUS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. 18 No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].

FOR UNTO US A SON WAS BORN

Unto Us
A Son Is Given
Unto Us
A Son Is Given
And The Government
Shall Be Upon His Shoulders
...And The Government Shall Be Upon His Shoulders
And His Name
...And His Name
Shall Be Called Wonderful!
Counselor!
The Mighty God!
The Everlasting Father!
The Prince of Peace!
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace!

This is an urgent note from James and Cristina...

"Yesterday I went to the emergency for a serious wound on my left small toe. It was more serious than we thought. I had a small cut on my little toe and it got worse from all the rubbing by the steel toed shoes I wear at work. There’s more to that story than I can tell in this email. Seems it was seriously infected and I will probably lose the toe. They are worried that the infection may spread to the bone so that would be even worse. Right now I have an IV hooked up into me and I have to go to the hospital every day at 7:30 am even during Christmas for intravenous medication until I see the plastic surgeon. So I seek your prayers for that as well as discipline for my diabetes.

As well last night when I was in emergency, Cris came up and she couldn’t stay long as they also rushed her mom to the emergency too as she had severe chest pains. Cris had our daughter Danielle and her boyfriend drive Cris up to University hospital Emergency but she was not there as there was no room or beds in the hospital, they had transferred her to Victoria South in our city. Cris finally got home about 1 am and she went over to her mom’s for the night as the hospital said there was nothing they could do for her as the pain disappeared but her white blood count was up.

All in all a very trying day and it causes you to rest upon the providence and sovereign purposes of God. It makes it difficult as I am the only one with a license and with Christmas a few days away there is so much to do and I am hobbling along all bandaged up.

So please keep us in your prayers

In Christ

Cris and James,

I am praying for your strength in the Lord. I echo Susan and Jazzy's sentiments...may the Lord sustain thee through the comfort and strength of His Holy Spirit.

Psa 34:19 Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth them out of them all.
