Consistent Free Grace
I've seen a lot of that term over the past year.
I wonder about some things...
Those who declare themselves such also claim that their system is the only system that allows people to view all of scripture at face value.
I see an inevitable contradiction here. Doesn't the term "Consistent Free Grace" suggest that a system is employed, and that all of scripture is then viewed through a lens?

Mark:
The ONLY thing consistent about the GES's REDEFINED Free Grace Theology is that it is consistently wrong.

What is done to Romans 10:9 in their system brings to focus their whole way of doing theology. It must all go through a grid.

I don't doubt that their theology is as consistent as humanly possible.
It isn't like other religious systems lack consistency - Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Islam, Buddhism, Animism etc. All of these are consistent with the premises they are built upon.
The problem with free grace theology is that its foundation is all messed up.

A lens does not necessarily distort what is viewed.
But some lens do.
